Chilli Pickle

Made with fresh green chillies, ‘hari mirch ka achar’ or green chilli pickle creates a hot and highly piquant flavour in the mouth. Chillies or peppers can be used to make a variety of Indian savoury sauces and chilli pickles. Age old superstitions surround the use of chilli, used to ward off evil . Nutritionally, green chillies are low in vitamin C and carotene, making it a very useful food additive and flavouring.
