SPECIALITY REIGNS IN THE EAST MIDLANDS!

The prestigious Great Taste Awards, sponsored by the Guild of Fine Foods has consistently visited Simtom since 2005 with a whole string of BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD awards (1 Bronze, 1 Silver and 6 Gold). The crowning glory for Simtom this year was when the gold envelope was nervously opened by regional sponsor, The Food and Drink Forum and the breathtaking announcement issued forth... "and the winner is..... SIMTOM FOOD PRODUCTS of Leicester!"

The Great Taste Awards are now seen as the 'oscars' of fine wine and dinning and is attended by the 'top fromage' of the food industry. Simtom had an august company of guests and clients well mixed for the event with gourmet food lavished upon everyone. The emphasis this year was very much on the quality and preparation aspects of good food and Simtom were singled out as having probably 'the best Indian flavour condiment on the sideboard'.

 

The event left all of us who attended on a natural high and the award has attracted a whole stream of national interest including articles in the Sunday Times, The Guardian, Metro magazine, Leicester Mercury and a whole series of keen industry commentators and writers wanting sound bites from our PR and Media agency.
