Simtom Food Products Ltd – Winners of the Midlands Asian Business
Awards for
Food & Drink 2018

Simtom Food Products Ltd are the proud winners of the Midlands Asian Business of the Year Food & Drink Award 2018.

The Food and Drink category award was made to an individual or group involved in the manufacture, warehousing, distribution or sales of food and drink items. The award was to recognize Asian entrepreneurship and business success in the award sector. It also showcased the vital contribution Asian businesses make to the British economy in so many areas of commercial participation.

The event took place on Friday 27th April at Winstanley House Leicester, and witnessed the annual gathering of the region's wealthiest and most successful Asian businessmen and women.

The gala event, attended by Chief Guest Heather Wheeler, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Housing, Communities and Local Government, saw her honour the outstanding business achievements across industries.

The Food and Drink Business Award was sponsored by HKS Holdings. It recognised Simtom Foods Products Ltd, whose products such as cooking sauces, seasonings, marinades and pickles are used in the preparation of Indian, Exotic and Gourmet foods.

Shailesh Solanki, executive editor of AMG and one of a panel of four experts who has examined British Asian wealth over the last year for the Asian Rich List Midlands, said: "The Midlands has for a long time been a beacon of success for the UK. The list shows the remarkable strength and diversity of Asian businesses in the region. And with Brexit on the horizon, and uncertainty over future trading relationships with Europe and the world, this comprehensive list proves that British Asian businesses in the Midlands have the desire, flair and know-how to continue to flourish.”

This award for Simtom is yet another accolade on the shelf to take its place with many awards earned over the years.
