Ingredients:
Simtom Balti Curry Paste (54g)
Chicken / Meat / Par-Boiled Vegetables (450g)
Vegetable Oil (1tbsp), Onion (1), Tomatoes (50g), Yoghurt or Double Cream (2tbsp)
Garnish: Sliced Peppers, Onions, Sliced Tomatoes, Fresh Coriander
Vegetable Balti
Serves 2 People
Fry 1 diced onion and 450g chicken / meat / par-boiled vegetables in 1 tbsp oil until golden brown.
Add approx. 50g of chopped tomatoes. Add approx. 54g of Simtom Balti Curry Paste and cook together with onions and chicken / meat / par boiled vegetables for 2 – 3 minutes and add 200ml of water and simmer for 10 – 15 minutes or until chicken / meat / par boiled are tender.
Stir Occasionally. For more sauce add water. Please note these cooking times are intended as a guide only.
Stir in 2 tbsp double cream or yogurt before serving if desired and garnish with sliced peppers, onions, sliced tomatoes and fresh coriander. Serve hot on a bed of rice with naan and poppadoms and a selection of Simtom pickles and chutneys.
